4. Root Genius Software

Note: A new version or modification of Baidu Root app was released which is called Baidu Super Root. It is lighter in size than before and also has less advertising. You need to have Internet to root using this.
7. Busy Box
You need to have BusyBox in your system to gain the root rights. It is a mobile application that combines the UNIX utilities into a small executable. It’s content is same as the GNU Core Utilities tool package.
To work with BusyBox you don’t require a large amount of memory. Purpose of BusyBox is the optimization of memory and managing the files.
In the content of MIUI and CyanogenMod firmware, Busybox is integrated. Download the BusyBox from third party websites or from Google Play. Android version of 3.0 or above is supported for rooting by BusyBox. To gain the root access, first download and then run the apk file.
