Method 1 – Whitelist Discord Installation Files in Antivirus Software

Step 3 – File explorer will show the hidden files; therefore this option should be remembered until its change again. Now in the AppData folder delete the Discord folder.
Step 4 – After that, try to end the process in taskbar after receiving a message that says some files could not be deleted because they were in use.
Step 5 – Now click on the Start option or the Search option present next to it. Then type Run or else can use the Window + R key combination in order to open the dialogue box.
Step 6 – Then in the folder that opens, locate the Discord folder, and right-click on it then select the Delete option.
Step 7 – Lastly make sure that the folders are completely deleted, and no more files are left unchecked. And also see to it whether the issue is resolved or not.
Method 3 – Uninstall and Reinstall Discord

Step 3 – Then click on Application while using settings Application and open a list of the program opened in your Operating system. Now click uninstall after locating Discord in Control Panel or Settings.
Step 4 – Then the Discord Uninstall wizard will open asking to choose “completely remove Discord from the system“. Choose yes.
Step 5 – Now click on the finish option once the process is complete. After uninstalling it, reinstall it again from the website and install the latest version.
